Depression

Depression can occur organically in the brain or arise from situational stress. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a leading technique used to identify unhelpful thinking patterns and outdated beliefs that disrupt productivity and peace of mind. It can also be used to achieve a more positive mindset, healthier self-talk, and increased resilience.

Anxiety

Everyone experiences different levels of stress. Anxiety occurs when that stress feels overwhelming and disrupts daily life. Using a combination of Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, anxiety can be effectively reduced and managed. Creating a less critical internal dialogue and incorporating self-compassion will help to re-focus your energy to be more productive and enjoyable.

Grief

Loss can be destabilizing and confusing. Therapeutic techniques such as Existentialism and Motivational Interviewing can help to identify personal values and create personalized goals for moving foreword. Working with a grief therapist can provide an opportunity to better understand the bereavement process, practice new coping tools, and process mixed emotions in a safe and supportive environment.

Relationships

Managing our relationships is a critical part of our well-being. Whether at work or at home, addressing issues of codependency, assertiveness, and boundary setting will help to maintain a sense of control, efficacy, and privacy. Developing self-confidence can help to manage your relationships with difficult people by challenging beliefs about relationship roles and obligations and prioritizing your safety.
